The context
The Route des Pêches electrification is a strategic infrastructure project led by Sobelec, a Bouygues Energies Services subsidiary. The site spans several linear kilometres along the ocean, with access constraints, multi-team coordination (civil works, electrical installation, signalling equipment) and regular reporting requirements to the public client. Sobelec wanted both a multi-stakeholder collaboration platform and regular video capture to materialise progress for funders and local residents.
Our method
Two complementary streams run in parallel. First stream: deployment and configuration of a Clovis collaborative platform to centralise documents, incident reports, coordination minutes and virtual tours between all site stakeholders. Second stream: regular drone capture along the electrification linear, with production of professional videos for internal reporting and external communication. Tight coordination with the site director to sync flight windows with visually marking phases (digging, pole placement, connection).
What we delivered
- Deployment and configuration of the Clovis collaborative platform
- Training of Sobelec teams on platform use
- Regular drone video capture along the linear
- Site progress videos shareable (4K, professional editing)
- Photogrammetric mapping of selected sensitive phases
- 360° virtual tours integrated into the Clovis platform
- Ongoing user support on the platform
- Video and photographic archive of the entire site
The outcome
Sobelec had a unified collaboration platform to steer a complex multi-team site, with a georeferenced documentary history usable for HSE audits and end-of-site reviews. The drone videos fed Bouygues Energies Services' institutional communication and were broadcast to local authorities and residents, contributing to the project's social acceptability. The method is designed to be extended to other group infrastructure sites in West Africa.
