They are overhead right now.

Crewed stations, Earth observation satellites, weather, navigation: this map propagates CelesTrak's published orbital elements live in your browser. Every dot advances by the second; click one to display its ground track for the next 95 minutes — one orbit.

Orbital elements: CelesTrak (NORAD GP). SGP4 propagation: satellite.js. Basemap: © OpenStreetMap, © CARTO.

From orbit to image

1

Ephemerides

NORAD publishes each satellite's orbital elements (TLE), refreshed several times a day and freely distributed by CelesTrak.

2

Propagation

The SGP4 model computes each satellite's position at the present instant — right in your browser, no server, to within a few kilometres.

3

Acquisition

These satellites produce the data behind our other maps: Landsat, Sentinel, NOAA. When centimetre-grade, tailored data is needed, OHM WORKS takes over with drones.

Need fresh imagery over a site?

Between two satellite passes, drones fly when you decide: 2 cm/pixel orthophotos, 3D, thermal, multispectral — within 72 h across Benin. Let's talk.
