Every hectare of Benin, classified.
Eleven land cover classes derived from the Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellites at 10-metre resolution: this is the ESA WorldCover map. From the mangroves of Grand-Popo to the savannahs of Pendjari, every pixel tells how land is used — the basis of any planning diagnosis.

From classification to land decisions
Classification
ESA's algorithms combine radar (Sentinel-1) and optics (Sentinel-2) to classify every 10 m pixel into 11 categories, with roughly 77% overall accuracy.
Reading
Built-up in red, cropland in pink, wetlands in cyan: territorial dynamics stand out — Cotonou's urban sprawl, agricultural pressure, the coastline.
Precision
For a project, 10 m is not enough: OHM WORKS refines by drone at 2 cm/pixel — exact building footprints, cadastre, impact studies, enforceable planning documents.
Fine-grained mapping of your territory?
Municipalities, developers, engineering firms: we produce project-scale land cover maps, from drone to GIS, ready for your planning documents. Let's talk.
