The world's disasters, at a glance.

This map shows events tracked by GDACS — the joint UN / European Commission alert system: earthquakes, cyclones, floods, volcanoes, droughts and major fires. Colour = alert level, size = exposed population. Data refreshes every 30 minutes.

Data: GDACS — European Commission (JRC) / UN (OCHA). Basemap: © OpenStreetMap, © CARTO.

From watch to response

1

Watch

GDACS continuously aggregates global alert systems — seismographs, cyclone models, flood sensors — and publishes each event with its physical characteristics.

2

Prioritisation

Each event gets a green, orange or red level based on expected humanitarian impact: intensity, exposed population, territorial vulnerability. The essentials are visible in one second.

3

Response

After the emergency comes assessment: drone mapping of affected areas, rapid orthophotos, building-by-building damage estimation. That is where OHM WORKS operates on the ground.

Mapping after the emergency?

NGOs, insurers, authorities: within days we deliver orthophotos and damage assessments over affected areas, immediately usable by your teams. Let's talk.
